To blog in Google Blogger many users are under the impression that a GMail account is required. This is not correct. What is required is a Google Account. Registering for a Google Account – which is free – gives you access to Google services like Blogger and GMail but not automatically.

After acquiring a Google account you can sign into Blogger using the same email you used to acquire the Google account. You can acquire a Google Account here. For that you can use any email address – myname@example.com. If you are a user of GMail than you already have a Google Account. You can use the prefix of your Gmail account name to sign into Blogger.

You cannot use the same email to create two Google Accounts. To sign up for Gmail Account go here. You can delete your Google Account but that is not advisable. Deleting your Google Account means you will lose access to all the services you used to access through it. For instance if you had created a blog then you will no longer be able to edit and delete posts in it. Deleting Google Account does not delete your blog! If you were using GMail associated with the deleted account, then you will not be able to read your emails.

Go here to delete your Google Account and all services associated with it. As said before this not advisable and were you to do it accidentally you can try to recover Google Account here.
